Training Classes at Tails & Toe Beans
Dog training isn't about commands, it's about communication. Think about your closest friendships: you don't demand things from the people you love, and dogs are our best friends too.
Dogs live in a human world full of rules they were never born knowing, and they can only work with the information we give them. When a cue doesn't land, that's not defiance, it's a conversation that needs a little more clarity, not a louder voice. So we focus on showing dogs what TO do, not just correcting what not to do. Because good decisions grow naturally once a dog understands what 'right' looks like.
Fair warning: your dog isn't the only one being trained here. By week six, you'll both have learned something new. That's what we teach ,not just a well-behaved dog, but real communication on both ends of the leash.

Bean Sprouts covers the foundational skills every good companion needs. From basic manners to confident, calm behavior around new people, sounds, and experiences. Six weeks of hands-on, positive-reinforcement training designed to set your pup up for a lifetime of good habits.
Seasoned Beans
Manners for Grown-up Dogs
Whether your dog is just getting started or brushing up on the basics, Seasoned Beans builds real-world manners and strengthens your bond, all in a fun, supportive group setting. Six weeks of practical skills that make everyday life with your dog easier and more enjoyable.
For dogs 9 months and up.
Our Teaching Philosophy
Our training methodology is fully positive-reinforcement and force-free (we don’t use prong, pinch, or e-collars). We believe dogs learn best through clear communication and consequences that make sense to them. Every class is built on kindness, patience, and consistency, both with dogs and the people who love them.
What to Expect
Each class is small, supportive, and hands-on. No prior training experience needed. You'll get a new skill to work on every week, guided coaching along the way, and a short, simple homework practice to build on at home. By week six, you and your dog will have real, usable skills and a stronger bond to show for it.
Before Class Begins
A copy of your dog's current vaccination records is required at or before your first class. Puppies should have their first round of puppy vaccinations at least two weeks before starting Bean Sprouts.
Classes are held Tuesdays at Tails & Toe Beans. Spots are limited, reach out to reserve yours!
